Leh: UTDRF Leh & Kargil took the initiative to conduct a comprehensive disaster management awareness program, aiming to educate and empower various segments of the community. The program focused on raising awareness among the residents of Panchayat Halqa Chumur, ensuring they were well-equipped with knowledge and strategies to handle potential disasters effectively. Additionally, the program extended its reach to Government Higher Secondary School Kharboo, engaging both students and teachers in the valuable learning experience. The program encompassed informative sessions, interactive workshops, and practical demonstrations, all designed to enhance disaster preparedness and response capabilities. Through this initiative, UTDRF Leh & Kargil sought to foster a culture of resilience and equip the participants with the necessary skills to effectively mitigate and manage any future disasters that may arise.
