Krishna: On the occasion of Moola Nakshatra and in the context of Devi Navratri Mahotsavam, Krishna District Superintendent of Police (SP) Mr. R. Gangadhara Rao, IPS, conducted a thorough inspection of the security arrangements at Shakti Gudi in Machilipatnam. As the Mahotsavam is a significant religious event drawing large crowds of devotees, especially during this festive period, the SP personally oversaw the preparations to ensure the safety and smooth management of the event.
Recognizing the substantial influx of devotees expected to visit Shakti Gudi, the SP directed Port Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mr. Abdul Subhan to take all necessary measures to strengthen the security and logistical arrangements. He emphasized the importance of crowd management, traffic control, and ensuring the safety of pilgrims attending the event.
During the inspection, SP R. Gangadhara Rao assessed various aspects, including the deployment of police personnel, the setup of entry and exit points, emergency response systems, and coordination with local authorities. After reviewing the arrangements, he also took part in the puja ceremonies, participating in the religious activities alongside the devotees.
Following the puja, the SP held a detailed meeting with the staff and police officials, giving several key instructions. He urged them to remain vigilant and proactive throughout the festivities, highlighting the need for smooth coordination among all departments involved. The SP reiterated the importance of maintaining order and ensuring that devotees can participate in the Mahotsavam without any inconvenience or security concerns.
Through his visit, SP Mr. R. Gangadhara Rao reinforced the district police’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful and well-managed celebration for all attendees.
