Rachakonda: CP Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS has inaugurated the booster dose vaccination drive to the Police Personnel at Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Neredmet, on Tuesday, and directed the staff to receive the booster dose vaccination.
With COVID-19 cases surging again in the state, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate has started precautionary booster dose vaccination drives for the Police personnel in Neredmet, LB Nagar, and CAR headquarters Bhongir.
Addressing the media, CP stated that vaccination reduces the risk of hospitalization and directed the staff to receive precautionary booster dose vaccination to stay safe from COVID-19. CP said that vaccination helped many Police personnel from the risk of fatality and reminded them that special vaccination drives were held earlier for the Police personnel and to their family members as well.
CP added that Rachakonda Commissionerate is taking up all the initiatives to protect the staff from the COVID-19 and reminded that all the Police personnel got recovered from COVID-19, who were tested positive in the 1st and 2nd waves of Pandemic. CP mentioned that a dedicated COVID Control Room has been set up at Rachakonda Commissionerate which has been working round the clock that provides numerous services to the citizens besides Police personnel. CP instructed the staff to utilize the vaccination drive and take their vaccine jab without fail.
CP also urged the people not to stop taking precautions and remain on high alert and follow all protocols. CP reiterated that the best possible preventive measure is following SMS (Sanitizer, Mask, and Social Distancing) and advised the citizens to be cautious about the new COVID variant Omicron.
