North Goa: On June 27, LPSI Priyanka Garodi, along with the dedicated team from the Anti-Narcotics Cell Police Station (ANC PS), organized an extensive awareness program at St. Lawrence High School in Agacaim located in North Goa District. This initiative aimed to educate students about the detrimental effects of drug abuse and the severe legal ramifications associated with drug-related offenses.
The session was comprehensive, featuring detailed presentations that covered various aspects of substance abuse, including health risks, social implications, and the legal framework governing narcotics. To reinforce the message, a short documentary film was screened, illustrating real-life scenarios and the harsh realities of drug addiction. The event concluded with an interactive session where students engaged with the officers, asking questions and discussing ways to stay drug-free.
