Mylapore: The Commissioner of Police Mr. Shankar Jiwal IPS has ordered to initiate stringent action against illegal activities and gambling in Chennai. In this regard, on 28.06.2021, on a discreet piece of information, a team led by the Inspector of Police, E1 Mylapore Police Station conducted surveillance of a house near Bannari Amman Towers, R.K.Road, Mylapore, and arrested Prince, M/23, of Royapettah, Bala Murugan, M/31 of Mylapore, Dhanasekar, M/19 of Mylapore, Ganapathi M/34 of T. Nagar and 4 others who indulged in gambling illegally. Cash of Rs.93,080/- and 5 decks of cards were seized from them. Legal action is being pursued against them.
