Chennai: The Election Commission has ordered the appointment of Mr. Ashutosh Shukla as the Tamil Nadu DGP. As Mr.T.K Rajendran IPS is presently holding the post, taking in consideration of the election this posting has been implemented. He should not participate in any matter concerning elections. The Election Commission has directed that matter concerning election should not be consulted by high officials, meeting and making decisions. This order is valid until the Lok Sabha elections are over. After the election DGP Mr. Ashutosh Shukla takes charge voters can come out confidently without fear and vote.
