Bhopal: Special Director General of Police, Mrs. Aruna Mohan Rao was given a heartfelt farewell by the Training Wing of Police Headquarters on the occasion of retirement. Mrs. Rao has been posted as Director General of Police (Training) from 10 July 2020 to 21 December 2021.
On this occasion, Additional Director General of Police (Training) Mrs. Anuradha Shankar said that Mrs. Rao has given new heights to police training by leading the training wing amidst the challenges of COVID.
Mrs. Aruna Mohan Rao said while working diligently the cooperation provided by the Police Training Branch and the team of Police Training Institutes was extremely important. He said that while serving in the police for a long time, I have achieved a lot in life. Now it is my duty to give its reward to the department as well. He told that a coaching center is being set up by his family for the competition of All India Services for the children, in which the children of the police family will be given training completely free of cost.
On this occasion DCP Bhopal Mr. Vineet Kapoor, Deputy Director of Madhya Pradesh Police Academy Mr. Malay Jain, Assistant Inspector General of Training Mrs. Irmin Shah and officers of training branch and institutions and staff of the branch were present.
