Vijayawada: It is proper that all the home guards working in the city voluntarily provide financial support to the families of the deceased home guards or retired home guards from their salary so that the deceased or retired home guards working in the city of Vijayawada do not face financial difficulties.
On this occasion, Vijayawada City Home Guard Unit was performing its duties. On 26.10.2022 Mr. Madurai Soundara Raju, (H.G. No. 963) passed away due to heart attack. Financial assistance provided to the family today is Rs.5 lakh cash check. On 03.1.2023 at the office of the Commissioner of Police by the hands of Commissioner of Police Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, I.P.S., the financial assistance was handed over to Mrs. Mahalakshi, wife of deceased Home Guard Soundara Raju. Admin DCP in this program. Mr. Moka Sattibabu, Home Guard R.I. Mr. Krishna garu and other police officers, staff and others participated.
