Hyderabad: A case has been registered against Ms. Renuka Chaudhary, a former Congress MP and senior leader of the party, at the Panjagutta police station. The manner in which she misbehaved with the police during the “Chalo Raj Bhavan” on Thursday, and Renuka Chowdhury caught the SI shirt collar on duty there, the footage of which went viral on social media.
The Panjagutta police registered a case under Section 353 following a complaint by SI Mr. Upendra Babu. On the misconduct with the police in Chalo Raj Bhavan a case has been registered against Ms. Renuka Chaudhary. She was forcibly arrested after the incident and shifted to Golconda police station. Police plan to remand Renuka Chaudhary.
However, Renuka Chaudhary responded to these allegations. She said I grabbed SI’s shoulder that I would fall down as some people pushed me from behind and did not intend to insult anyone. “I know very well how to respect the police uniform, and I have respect for the police,” said former MP Ms. Renuka Chaudhary.
