Bhopal: Full dress and final rehearsal of Police Raising Day Parade was done on Wednesday morning at Motilal Nehru Police Stadium. The Police Raising Day organized for the first time will be celebrated on 17th December. On this day, the main function of the state will be held at Motilal Nehru Police Stadium at 9 am in the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh and in the special hospitality of Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra.
Director-General of Police Mr. Vivek Johri IPS inspected the full dress rehearsal parade. Also took stock of other arrangements for the Police Foundation Day. During the full dress rehearsal for the Police Raising Day on Wednesday, the Chief Constable, Mr. Ramchandra Kushwaha, played the role of the chief guest. The final exercise parade was led by Mr. Vinod Kumar Meena, an officer of the Indian Police Service.
The Two-I-C of the parade is Mr. Aditya Tiwari IPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police. In the parade, Hawk force, Special Armed Forces Indore Range, Special Armed Forces Gwalior Range, Women’s Platoon Special Armed Forces and District Force’s Joint Troops, Special Armed Forces Bhopal’s Men Platoon, Special Armed Forces Jabalpur’s Men Platoon, S.T.F., District Police Force and GRP. The combined contingents of the U.S., Police Band Platoon, Dog Squad, and Cavalry Squad.
Special Director General of Police (SAF) Mr. Milind Kanashkar IPS, Additional Director General of Police Mrs. Pragya Richa Srivastava IPS, Mr. Vijay Kataria IPS, Bhopal Police Commissioner Mr. Makarand Deuskar IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police Mr. Gaurav Rajput IPS, Mrs. Krishnaveni Desawatu, Commandant VII Corps Mr. Atul Singh at the time of full-dress rehearsal. ,
Commandant 23rd Corps Mr. Mohammad Yusuf Qureshi, Commandant 25th Corps Mrs. Nivedita Naidu, and other senior police officers were present. During this, the melodious tune of the song of Madhya Pradesh Police was presented by the Police Band.
This year, gallantry medals were announced on 26 January 2021, President’s Vishisht Seva Medal on 15 August 2020 and 26 January 2021, and Meritorious Service Medal, Jeevan Raksha Padak, and 32 bore pistol recipient officers and employees will also be honored on the foundation day.
