Meghalaya: On 26 May 2021 the troops of Battalion under BSF Meghalaya foiled an attempt of smugglers by confiscating a vehicle loaded with Dry Peas which was being smuggled to India from Bangladesh.
In another good activity done by the BSF amid the COVID-19 pandemic is the BSF continues providing humanitarian assistance to the needy border population. On 26 May 2021,123 Bn under BSF Meghalaya distributed masks, gloves, and sanitizers to the needy people of Vill- Ryngku, EKH District to enable them to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
