Coimbatore: In Coimbatore District, the Assistant Inspector Mr. Karuppusamy Pandian of Anaimalai Police was on patrol duty. During his duty period, he noticed some persons who were engaged in illegal gambling and he swiftly moved into action and arrested 14 persons who were engaged in illegal gambling and seized Rs.72,500 / – from their possession.
In another case in Periyanayakanpalayam Subdivision Mr. Balamurali Sundaram, Inspector of Dudiyalur Police Station was on patrol duty and he arrested 3 persons and seized about 3.300 grams of cannabis from their possession, and imprisoned the accused.
