Krishna, Andhra Pradesh: In a proactive move to promote road safety and responsible driving, the Gudivada Traffic Police, under the leadership of District Superintendent of Police Sri R. Gangadhar Rao, IPS, organized a traffic awareness programme for taxi drivers in the Gauri Shankarapuram area of Gudivada town.
The session was conducted under the supervision of Traffic SI Nagaraju Garu, following the instructions of the district SP. During the meeting, taxi drivers were educated on the key provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, the importance of carrying valid identification and vehicle documents, and adhering to traffic norms.
The officers also explained the vital precautions and responsibilities to be followed during road accidents, emphasizing the importance of immediately contacting Emergency Helpline 112 in case of any crisis.
This initiative reflects the police department’s commitment to spreading awareness, ensuring road safety, and building a responsible driving community in Krishna District.
