Gwalior: Superintendent of Police, Gwalior Mr. Amit Sanghi IPS has directed the Gwalior Police to take action against thieves, robbers, nakbjans and habitual criminals in the district. Following the instructions, Additional Superintendent of Police, City (East/Crime) Mr. Rajesh Dandotia IPS directed his subordinate station in-charges to take action by developing an informer system on suspects and habitual criminals in their respective police station areas. Following the instructions of senior officers and taking action under the guidance of City Superintendent of Police Murar Mr. Ratnesh Tomar IPS, the police station Gole ka Mandir has succeeded in nabbing the vehicle thief.
On April 3, 2022, the mobile of a Jio company was stolen from the police station area. While tracing the police station in-charge, Gole’s temple inspector Mr. Vinay Sharma and his team caught one of the accused. On search of the accused, the said mobile phone was recovered from his possession.
On interrogation, the accused admitted to committing a total of 8 thefts from the temple area of Thana Gola, including a motorcycle stolen from Thana Gola Ka Mandir, a motorcycle stolen from Thana Murar and another motorcycle stolen from Morena. On the spot of the accused, the police team has seized three stolen motorcycles, one mobile, one LED, one laptop, gold and silver jewelry worth seven lakh fifty thousand rupees.
Against the arrested accused, there are already 9 crimes in Bahodapur police station, 3 crimes in Madhoganj police station, 6 crimes in Old Cantonment police station, 1 crime in Hazira police station, 1 crime in Janakganj police station, 2 in Gwalior, 1 in Murar and in Morena district. 1 offense is registered. Thus, 32 offenses are already registered against the accused. The accused is being closely interrogated in relation to the theft done in other police station areas of Gwalior district.
