The International Women’s Day celebration was held at Thiagarajar School of Management, Madurai. During the event the IWD TSM Shakti Awards 2023 were presented to the awardees. The event was conducted on (06.03.2023) at 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM at Thiagarajar School of Management, Thiruparankundram. The event was organized and hosted by WeCare club, Thiagarajar School of Management. The Dignitaries who attended the function are Dr. M. Selvalakshmi Principal, Thiagarajar School of Management; Mr. R. Uma Chandrika Assistant Director, MSME, Development and Facilitation office; Mr. N. Balamuralikrishnan AGM, Operations and Business Development, HDFC limited; Mr. Prabakar Ignatious Prince – Associate Manager, HCLF. The 53 TSM Shakti Awardees were received by 33 WSDP women entrepreneurs, 7 HCL Tech Volunteers, 4 Social Workers from Madurai HCLF partner NGOs, and 9 successful entrepreneurs from various fields at Keerathurai. The event was inaugurated by a welcome song and welcome speech.
The dignitaries Mr. R Uma Chandrika Assistant Director, MSME, Mr. N Balamuralikrishnan AGM, HDFC limited and Dr. M. Selvalakshmi Principal, TSM have addressed the gathering by congratulating the winners and also motivated them for creating milestones in the upcoming future. The awards were distributed by the guests to the 53 IWD Shakti Awardees. Guests were honoured by TSM with gifts. EDII honoured the guests, HCL Tech HRs and HCL tech volunteers by giving WSDP products as gifts. Talk Show Embrace Equity: Charter for Change. Entrepreneurs and HCL volunteers have participated in the talk show and talked about their entrepreneurs challenges Vs entrepreneurs opportunities was moderated by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) Madurai team.
