Bihar, Patna: This morning at 11:00 am, Shri Jitendra Singh Gangwar, serving as the Director General-cum-Commissioner of Civil Security Bihar and holding the Additional Charge as Director General (Headquarters) Bihar, led the administration of the Integrity Pledge at the Bihar Police Headquarters in Patna. The event saw the participation of all officers and staff present, who collectively committed to upholding ethical standards and fostering transparency and accountability in their work.
This pledge marks the commencement of “Vigilance Awareness Week,” which is being observed throughout Bihar in accordance with the recent directive issued by the Chief Secretary of Bihar. The Vigilance Awareness Week, scheduled from October 28 to November 3, 2024, aims to reinforce the importance of integrity and vigilance among public officials and raise awareness across the state about preventing corruption and promoting transparency in public service.
