Mahasamund: Mahasamund City is a city in the Mahasamund District in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Crime has been taking place and the police have always been taking action against the criminals and have relentlessly been seeing that the crime rate in the district and the state is low and is also putting an effort to see that the state become crime-free. Even as such efforts are being taken by the police there has been a new method of committing crimes by certain criminals.
This is the first case of theft of precious metal dust (palladium) from silencers of Maruti Eeco vehicles in the state. A total of 07 accused of the inter-state gang arrested in the case of theft of 20 kg of precious metal dust (palladium). The accused used to sell metal dust by smelting and extracting palladium metal from it.
