Tirunelveli: Balasubramanian (54), currently residing in Coimbatore near Navvaladi Main Road under Uvari Police Station limits in Tirunelveli District, owns a cottage on 3 cents of land with an electricity connection. On September 24, 2024, Varnabas (46) from South Street, Navvaladi, allegedly used a JCB machine to demolish and damage the cottage and its electrical connection with the intent to seize the property. Following a complaint filed by Balasubramanian at the Uvari Police Station, the Uvari Police Inspector registered a case and began investigating Varnabas. As of October 1, 2024, steps are being taken to arrest him and place him in judicial custody.
