Jammu: Director General of Police Mr. Dalbagh Singh IPS visited Budgam this afternoon and inaugurated the Joint Investigation Center building. Special DG CID Mr. RR Swain and Kashmir IGP Mr. Vijay Kumar accompanied the DGP on the occasion. SSP Budgam Mr. Tahir Salim Khan welcomed him.
The new JIC is equipped with state-of-the-art research systems and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology to achieve better results in our research and operational work.
After inspecting the newly constructed building, the DGP held talks with the authorities and directed them to be more vigilant and put pressure on the state opponents and their supporters. Authorities opposed the protest with all available police forces, special services, and the OGW. He lauded the recent achievements of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security forces in the fight against terrorism.
He said that coordination between the forces on our anti-terrorism grid would always be useful and in order to achieve victory over the enemy forces in the country, the coordination of all forces at the grassroots level should be clear.
The DGP urged the officers to always consider the comfort and safety of the citizens while dealing with anti-militancy activities and law and order. He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir were standing by the Jammu and Kashmir Police in the fight against terrorism.
On the occasion, SSP Mr. Bubble and other officials briefed the DGP on the security measures being taken to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the district.
