Jammu and Kashmir: The Armed Police has announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed 10TH for the position of Special Police Officers. Interested and eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed format on or before 10/03/2020. Candidates are advised to go through the official notification and eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the respective posts.
Applications are hereby invited from eligible Male and Female candidates of UT J&K for filling up of 39 posts (likely to be increased) Of Special Police officer (SPO) under Sports Quota in Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police purely on temporary basis and all the benefits will be given under rules as per the Govt. order No. 889 of 2019 dated 04.08.2019.
The Name of Post is Special Police Officers. The candidate should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from any Govt. recognized institute before the cut off date for submission of application forms. The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 24 years of age and excelled at International/ National/ State/ UT level.

The selection procedure is as follows. Physical Endurance Test (PET) For Male: 1600 meters Race in 06 minutes and 15 seconds. For Female: 1000 meters Race in 06 minutes and 15 seconds. Physical Standards.

The Applications as per enclosed proforma along with qualification/ sports Certificates State/UT/national/International level be submitted without any fees in the office of I/C Sports section APHQ J&K Gulshan ground Jammu with effect from 25.02.2020 from 01000 hours to 1700 hours except Sundav as it is a holiday and the last date of submission of application forms shall be 10.03.2020.
There are no fees/charges for submission of application forms for the engagement of SPO’s Applicants are advised to submit attested photocopies of eligibility Certificates and bring along with original documents for verification at the time of submission of the application form. Colour photographs 4 No. and Xerox of Aadhaar Card (Self-attested be attached with application form).
Incomplete application form in any respect shall not be entertained. The engagement is purely on a temporary basis and this shall have no claim for permanent absorption. Authority competent shall reserve the right to terminate the engagement at any time without notice.
