Jharkhand: The Jharkhand police have arrested two persons for the murder of a man by hanging and also injuring three others in Gumla District, police said on Saturday. The incident took place on April 11. Superintendent of Police, Gumla District, Mr. Anjani Kumar Jha said, two persons by name Sanjay Sahu and Jeevan Sahu were arrested on Friday. The police identified seven persons who were connected with the case and five other accused are being traced. Two FIRs were lodged. The first was lodged against the accused. The second was lodged against Blasius Tirkey, Peter Kerketta and Jamarius Minz who were injured. These FIRs were registered under the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005. The injured persons are undergoing treatment at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences. He said a special team is investigating into the case. The murder and injury to three persons occurred on Thursday after they were slicing flesh from a bull’s carcass. The man who was killed has been identified as Prakash Lara. ]]>
