Haryana, Karnal: The Police have successfully foiled a major terror plot in the country. Khalistan militants have conspired to carry out blasts in several states, including Telangana. The Intelligence agencies have already detected the terrorists’ plot. To that extent intelligence agencies have alerted various states. Four suspected militants have been arrested in Karnal district of Haryana in this regard. Heavy explosives were seized from them. Police said they caught them moving bombs, bullets, gunpowder and so on. Police said the seized gunpowder may have been RDX-related explosives.
To this end, the Telangana, Punjab and Haryana police conducted a joint operation. The arrested militants were identified as Gurpreet, Amandeep, Bhupendra and Parminder. They are believed to have links with the Pakistani ISI. It seems that they are moving arms towards Telangana and Maharashtra. Preliminary investigation revealed that the weapons were brought by terrorists by drones from across the country’s borders. The weapons were reportedly sent by Harjinder Singh, a Khalistani militant based in Pakistan.
