Shopian: Shopian district comes under the Pir Panjal Range which makes it very cold in winter. Since the climate is very cold and there is heavy snowfall it has become very difficult for people and vehicles to travel from one place to another. Keeping all these difficult conditions in mind and as a gesture of relief to the public, Shopian Police today facilitated the movement of needy people/vehicles in the District which were stuck in the heavy snow. Police teams were constituted & deputed in the areas for the assistance of the Public.
