Kolkata: A photographer is most commonly an artist, entrusted with the task of turning special moments into special memories, or the mundane into the magical. The Police Department has such photographers too, it’s just that their job description is a little different. While they record all our special events and initiatives on their cameras, they must also photograph the various crime scenes that we come upon every day. Indeed, their documentation is invaluable when it comes to taking an investigation forward.
