Chennai: The Traffic Police team led by Mr. Ramesh of Mount Road PS which is opposite Spencer Plaza had taken a two-wheeler that was parked on the pavement opposite Express Avenue and in front of the locked gate of Wesley School.
When the owner of the two-wheeler had come back after attending a meeting, he found that his two-wheeler was missing and made a search and when he enquired with the bunk shop about the whereabouts of the bike that he had parked, the person in the bunk shop told him that the traffic police had lifted them and guided him to the Mount Road Police Station.
Once he reached the police station the police personal at the station received him very courteously and guided him to the Spencer signal point where the officer was handling the matter. The traffic police officer Mr. Ramesh was very sharp and quick in processing the matter. After the various paper verification and collection of fine towards only the towing charges with a Card Swiping machine. He was told by the Officer that many bikes are being stolen from the area. The police are doing this as a precaution to prevent the bikes from being stolen by bike thieves. He was impressed by the police officer’s professional yet friendly approach. He received a confirming message of the receipt of payment from the Greater Chennai Traffic Police.
He is very impressed by this experience and is proud of the police personal.
