Kumaun: Nainital police arrested 2 accused on 9.1.2022 and recovered 512 grams of smack from them, whose international estimated cost is 51 lakh rupees. 2 accused were arrested,1 accused is from Bareilly and 1 accused is from Banbhulpura, and other 1 accused of Bareilly is absconding.
In the district Nainital, 15 accused were arrested in the last 8 days from which about 1 kg of smack was recovered. The estimated cost of which is being estimated to be around Rs.1 crore.
On 9.1.2022, about 1 quintal of ganja in 36 packets, which has an international value of about Rs.1 crore, was recovered from the possession of 4 accused in an XUV vehicle in the Rudrapur area of Udham Singh Nagar district. All the four accused are from district Udham Singh Nagar district.
On 9.1.2022, around 220 grams of smack were recovered by the police under Banbasa police station area of Champawat, in which 2 accused were arrested, whose international estimated cost is about 25 lakh rupees.
