Hyderabad: Nearly 16,000 police job seekers appeared for the Pre-Recruitment Police Training (PRPT) examination conducted at 36 centers in the city on Tuesday under the auspices of Hyderabad City Police.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner Mr. CV Anand IPS said the test was conducted in all the five zones of the city and nearly 21,000 people were registered. “Joining the police is a source of pride not only for the candidate but also for his entire family and neighbors,” he told the media.
He explained that coaching would be given to provide police jobs to 1000 candidates in each zone. “CSR funds, HCP funds and government funds will be used to run this three-month training program. He said the aim was to fill nearly 3,300 vacancies in the Hyderabad Police by training job seekers.
The commissioner visited two centers at Anwar Uloom College in Mallepally and Aurora College in Chikkadpally and interacted with the candidates.
