Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: While a police team led by Sembatti Police Station Inspector Saravanan—comprising Sub-Inspectors Sheik Abdullah and Kottai Rajan, along with other personnel—was on patrol, they arrested Krishnapandi (30) of K.P. Chathiram, Sembatti. He had been roaming the Sembatti-Madurai Road area on a two-wheeler, creating a racket and brandishing a long knife in a manner that intimidated the public. The police seized the knife and the vehicle, registered a case, and are conducting an investigation.
