Tamil Nadu, Dindigul: During a patrol in the Dindigul Kanniwadi Wildlife Sanctuary, the forest department apprehended Kannan, a resident of Attur, for allegedly attempting to hunt wildlife by setting up a wire trap powered by electricity on his leased land. A case was filed against him, and a fine of Rs. 25,000 was imposed.
