Matigara: On 30/06/21, acting upon an input received in our helpline number, officers and men of Matigara Police Station arrested three drug peddlers namely Guljar Mia of Beldangi, Tumbajote; Pankaj Barman of Chathat medical more; Khursed Mia alias Borobabu of Kaowakhali from Tumbajote, Matigara, along with one Red and black Motorcycle in which they were traveling.
During the search, 75 bottles of “Lykarex” cough syrup were recovered from their possession. These accused were actively operating and supplying drugs and contraband substances to the drug abusers at Kaowakhali and Biswas Colony area.
The Police said that we welcome such inputs from our good citizens in our helpline number.
All the accused have been produced before the Ld Court and remanded to Judicial Custody.
