Chennai: The Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner has inaugurated a medical check-up camp for police officers and their families at the Kondithoppu and Kilpauk police stations on behalf of Apollo Hospital.
During the curfew with relaxations announced in order to prevent the spread of corona infection in Tamil Nadu, on their orders of Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Shankar Jaiswal IPS for the benefit of the dedicated Chennai Metropolitan Police personnel, Corona Awareness Camps, Medical Camps were conducted, Various welfare schemes are being implemented to provide corona prevention equipment.
Following this, the Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Sankar Jaiswal IPS ordered to conduct medical examination camps at the police quarters in Chennai for the benefit of the policemen and their families.
Chennai Police Commissioner Mr. Sankar Jaiswal, IPS on 04.08.2021 inaugurated the Medical Examination Camp for the constables and their families on behalf of the Apollo Hospital at the Community Welfare Center at Kondithoppu Police Station.
Arrangements have been made for the camp to receive medical tests including eye, ear, throat, blood pressure, diabetes, ECG, and ECHO, and specialists will be hired to interpret the test and the results, as well as to prescribe medicine and tablets for minor ailments, as the police and his family will attend the camp. The Commissioner of Police advised them to take advantage.
Following this, the Chennai Police Commissioner Mr. Shankar Jaiswal, IPS visited and gave instructions to the police.
In this camp, Chennai Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioners Mr. D. Senthilkumar, IPS, (North), Mr. Pradeep Kumar, IPS, (Transport), Northern Regional Joint Commissioner Mr. AD Thuraikumar, Deputy Commissioners, Mr. Sainarayanan, Senior General Manager, Apollo Hospital, Mr. Dhanushkodi, Manager and Police Officers were present.
