Visakhapatnam: As part of the multinational naval exercise MILAN, the International Maritime Seminar commenced in Visakhapatnam, marking the beginning of high-level deliberations on maritime cooperation and security.
The seminar brought together Naval Chiefs, senior maritime leaders, delegates, and academicians from 74 participating countries, fostering dialogue on emerging challenges and opportunities in the Indo-Pacific region.
Esteemed speakers from the navies of Singapore, Japan, and Australia shared strategic insights, emphasizing the need for enhanced regional collaboration to ensure maritime security, stability, and sustainable growth. Discussions highlighted the importance of collective action in addressing evolving maritime threats, strengthening partnerships, and promoting safe and secure sea lanes.
