Guna: In response to instructions from Guna District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sagar, the Guna Police initiated a search for missing underage boys and girls in the area. Under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police, Mr. Vinod Kumar Singh, and led by SDOP Guna, Mr. Yuvraj Singh Chauhan, the Myna police team successfully located two missing minor girls, aged 17 and 15, within the jurisdiction of the Myana police station.
The incident was reported at the Myana police station during the night of June 24-25, 2023. The complainant informed the police that he had left his two daughters, aged 17 and 15, at home while he and his wife attended a relative’s wedding. Upon returning home in the evening of June 24, he discovered that his two daughters were missing. Extensive searches were conducted in the village and among relatives, but their whereabouts remained unknown. A case was registered based on the complaint.
Inspector Vipendra Singh Chauhan, in-charge of the Myna police station, and his team vigorously pursued the investigation, utilizing their network of informers and employing various technical resources. Consequently, on June 25, within a mere ten hours, the Myna police station swiftly took action based on information received from an informant regarding the kidnapped minor girls. The abductors were apprehended, and after undergoing legal procedures, the girls were reunited with their families.
