MP Police file FIR against government school after 4-year-old girl alleges rape

BHOPAL: In Jabalpur district a four-year-old girl was allegedly raped in a toilet of a government school recently by another minor, a student of Class 8 or 7, who hasn’t been identified yet, Jabalpur Police said. The minor was raped and the incident occurred in the government middle school in Jabalpur town, 360 kms east of Bhopal, they said. The girl is an orphan living at a shelter home in Jabalpur. The crime came to light when the superintendent of the shelter informed the Vijay Nagar police station about the incident. The superintendent had noticed the child in a terrified state when she returned back, according to Police.

Vijay Nagar town Inspector of Police Mr. Rajesh Malviya said, ‘’The girl informed that she was raped by a school student, as it is a middle school, we are suspecting that a student of class 7th or 8th has raped her”. The investigation is on, he said. Police have registered a case and the girl was admitted at a government hospital, Police said.  ]]>
