Bhopal: In Bhopal, a spectacular two-day garba event, meticulously organized under the guidance of DGP Mr. Sudhir Saxena on the 18th and 19th of October, brought together the vibrant tapestry of police families for an enthralling celebration. The festivities culminated with exuberant performances set to both cinematic and religious melodies, an experience that personally resonated deeply with me.
On the second day, the inauguration was graced by DGP Mr. Saxena, who commenced the proceedings with a heartfelt Aarti dedicated to Ambe Maa. The auspicious event was attended by a distinguished assembly of senior officers from the Police Department. Among them were the esteemed retired Director General of Police Mr. Rishi Kumar Shukla, Director General Mr. Kailash Makwana, Special DG Mr. GP Singh, Mr. Vipin Maheshwari, ADG Mr. Rajesh Chawla, Mr. Yogesh Mudgal, Mr. Upendra Jain, Mr. Alok Ranjan, Mr. Yogesh Deshmukh, Mr. Jaideep Prasad, Mr. Vijay Kataria, Mr. Adarsh Katiyar, Mr. Sanjeev Shami, Commissioner of Police Bhopal Mr. Harinarayanchari Mishra, Additional Commissioner Mr. Anurag Sharma, Mr. Awadhesh Goswami, PSO to DGP Dr. Vineet Kapoor, and other esteemed senior officers. They were accompanied by their families, all of whom enthusiastically immersed themselves in the grandeur of the garba festival, creating a joyous and memorable atmosphere.
As the event drew to a close, DGP Mr. Saxena, donning the role of a benevolent mentor, conveyed his warmest wishes and bestowed blessings upon the police families, marking the auspicious occasion of Navratri and Dussehra. The presence of numerous senior officials further underscored the collective spirit of encouragement and camaraderie that pervaded the entire program.
Noteworthy exhibitions were also on display, organized by the Women Security Wing and Traffic Police, aimed at raising awareness about crucial matters. Additionally, the police family members contributed significantly by setting up sixteen stalls, offering a delectable array of culinary delights. These initiatives were graciously acknowledged and applauded by DGP Mr. Saxena and other dignitaries present.
Here in Harsollas, I was delighted to partake in the celebrations, joining in with the revelry alongside everyone else. The conclusion of the event witnessed DGP Mr. Saxena personally distributing prizes to all the participants, extending his heartfelt congratulations and gratitude. In response, the police families expressed their deep appreciation to the Director General of Police for masterminding such a splendid and memorable event that brought the community together in unity and festivity.
