Vijayawada: On 31.08.2022, in honor of Vinayaka Chavithi, immersion of Vinayaka idols will be done from today evening. In the city, Vinayaka immersion arrangements were made at the ghat near the feet of Seethammavari under Krishna Lanka police station. On 31.8.2022 NTR District Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, IPS, visited the immersion site and gave appropriate instructions and suggestions to the officials and staff conducting the Bandobast.
In this context, the City Police Commissioner said that arrangements have been made to ensure that the Vinayak idol immersion program ends peacefully, and in coordination with the police department, municipality, revenue, electricity and fire departments, arrangements have been made to complete the immersion phase, and in advance measures have been taken to ensure that there is no disturbance during the immersion. It was informed that personnel, lighting and barricades have been arranged and adequate security arrangements have been made so that the immersion program can be completed in a peaceful environment without any mistakes.
