Rachakonda: On 1st February 2022, Mr. Narasimha, member of Board for welfare and development of South India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has visited Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS and conducted a meeting. Rachakonda CP and Addl. CP Mr. G. Sudheer Babu IPS have cordially invited and felicitated him. In the meeting, support of the Police department is sought for the effective implementation of welfare schemes of the Central government for the development of SC, ST, and De-notified Tribes, and discussions were held over atrocities against SC and STs and Criminal Tribe Acts. DCP Mr. Narayana Reddy IPS., DCP Ms. Rakshitha K Murthy IPS., and other officers also attended the meeting.
