Mangalagiri: Mr. Kasireddy Rajendranath Reddy IPS took over as the new DGP of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. He took over from former DGP Mr. Gautam Sawang IPS. On this occasion, Mr. Gautam Sawang IPS congratulated the new DGP.
Mr. Rajendranath Reddy IPS, a 1992 batch, is currently the state intelligence DJ. He joined Nizamabad District Bodhan in the Joint AP in 1994 posting as Additional SP. After serving in the Nizamabad district, he served as CID and Railway SP along with Visakhapatnam and Nellore districts. Served as Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam. He served as North Coast IG, Hyderabad West Zone, Marine Police Division. He is recognized nationally for cracking several key cases.
