Shimla: Today Mr. Sanjay Kundu, IPS DGP along with other officers visited the Police stations of Shimla city viz. Police Station Dhalli, Chotta Shimla, New Shimla, Boileauganj, Sadar, FMPS, and Police lines.
The purpose of the visit was to boost the morale of the Khaki warriors who have been working 24×7 in the fight against the pandemic. He gave awareness to them about the vaccination drive and COVID protocol to be followed while on duty and otherwise. He reviewed the crime, law and order, and COVID-19 situation of the Shimla District.
He also visited IGMC Shimla and interacted with the staff of IGMC and the force deployed there. While communicating to the police force the DGP said a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. Tough times don’t last but, tough people do. Together we can and we will fight COVID-19.
