Raigarh: At around 15.30 hours on 1.9.2020, the snake entered the records branch of the police officers’ office and took the team of Raigad snake friends to the cello dump yard. The snake friends were catching the snake and leaving the office at the same time that the car of SP Mr. Santosh Kumar Singh IPS was entering the office. After getting off the car, SP Mr. Singh called the snake friend and discussed the rescue of the snakes. SP Mr. Santosh Singh IPS said to the snake friends to be careful in work and praised him for his selfless service.
Neeraj Saw of the Sarpa Mitra team said that Mr. Vinitesh Tiwari, the head of his Sarpa Mitra Group, who is working in Cholamandalam Finance, is a training man with whom he has learned to rescue snakes. Neeraj Saw was talking about catching snakes and leaving them safely in the jungles when suddenly SP Mr. Santosh Singh IPS grabbed that snake with his hand and said that by catching this snake, the time of training of Counter-Terrorism and Jungle Warfare was missed. Where training of poisonous snakes and other wildlife is also given during training.
During this, SP Mr. Santosh Singh IPS told not all snakes are poisonous, but people definitely get scared by seeing snakes. Carefully hold such snakes and leave them in safe places or take the help of snake friends. To save the environment, it is a human duty to protect all the extinct animals including snakes, we should also understand our responsibility. Team members Neeraj Saw, Jai Yadu, and Lokesh Malakar told that there are 8-10 members in the team who arrive at the information about snake anywhere in the district and rescue the snakes.
