Chennai: On 27.07.2021, Dinesh (M/30) of Kasimedu lodged a complaint at N-2 Kasimedu Police Station stating that an unknown person stole 1 ½ sovereign earrings, 1 gram gold dollar, 20 grams anklet, and 1 cell phone in his house.
N-2 Kasimedu Police Station, Patrol vehicle in-charge officer Special Sub Inspector of Police Mr. S. Mohanraj, Sector Vehicle Grade I Police Constable Mr. P. Arivalazhan, Police Constable Mr. S. Raj Kumar while on night rounds, arrested the accused Naresh (M/23) of Kasimedu within 1 hour. 13 grams gold jewels, silver anklet, and one cell phone were recovered from him. Legal action is being pursued against him.
On 29.07.2021, the Commissioner of Police Mr. Shankar Jaiswal IPS, personally invited the N-2 Kasimedu Police Station, Special Sub Inspector of Police Mr. S. Mohnaraj, and team and lauded their work by presenting them with certificates of appreciation and rewards.
