Mysuru City, Karnataka: With a surge in tourist arrivals to Mysuru city during the New Year season, Mysuru City Police Commissioner Smt. Seema Latkar, IPS, conducted an inspection of the areas surrounding the Mysuru Palace on the evening of 28.12.2025, prioritizing the safety and convenience of tourists and the general public.
During the inspection, the Commissioner reviewed security arrangements, crowd management measures, and traffic regulation plans to ensure a smooth and safe experience for visitors at one of the city’s most prominent tourist attractions. She issued necessary instructions to officers on the ground to maintain public order and enhance vigilance during peak tourist hours.
The inspection was carried out in the presence of DCP Kumari Bindumani R.N., IPS (Law & Order) and DCP Shri Sundar Raj K.S. (Crime & Traffic). The proactive initiative reflects the Mysuru City Police’s commitment to ensuring peaceful, secure, and tourist-friendly New Year celebrations in the city.
