Hyderabad: CP Mr. CV Anand IPS revealed that Chief Minister KCR had been directed to completely eradicate drugs in Telangana during the review meeting. The Narcotic Wing was set up to eradicate drugs. Mr. CV Anand revealed that cannabis is being secretly cultivated in the Atur Nagaram area of Telangana, in the Andhra Pradesh Agency area.
He further said, “Drugs are mostly used in Hyderabad. Wealthy people in Hyderabad are smuggling drugs from other states to people they know. There are reports that children in some international schools in Hyderabad are also consuming drugs. People want to participate in the drug-free Hyderabad program. CP Mr. Anand said that the police should be informed whether drugs are being used or being sold.
