Dec,24,2025: The Police Day Function held at Maraimalai Nagar T9 Police Station, Chengalpattu District was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect on 24th December 2025. The event was organized by Police News, Citizen Reporters of Police News Plus, and Citizen Reporters Dr. S. Ramesh and Mr. S. Chandramouli, in association with United Legal Rights Organisations, NCIA, and the National Crime Intelligence Agency.
The Police Department of Maraimalai Nagar T9 Police Station welcomed all guests and participants with warmth and appreciation. The programme commenced with a respectful gathering of police officials, citizen reporters, and community leaders to mark the spirit of Police Day, a day dedicated to honouring the service, sacrifice, and commitment of police personnel who work tirelessly to maintain law and order.
In recognition of their unwavering service, all police officials present were honoured with shawls, and sweets were distributed among the police persons as a token of appreciation and love.
The programme also included a special session where the importance of Police Day and understanding the duties and responsibilities of police officers were highlighted. Citizen reporters and attendees reflected on the crucial role police play in protecting society, ensuring justice, and upholding peace.
The ceremony concluded on a high note with heartfelt appreciation from the police officers. The Police Commanding Officers of Maraimalai Nagar Police Station honoured the guests and delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all organizers and participants for their support in making the event a memorable success.
