Superintendent of police (city) Mr.Shlok Kumar, said that The main purpose of this Tejas system is to stop crimes like snatching and robbery. It is the first force in the state and it is based on PPP (Public-Private Partnership ) model. The Tejas team will keep a watch outside schools, colleges, markets, and parks.

Ghaziabad SSP Mr. Sudhir Kumar Singh said, “We are not determined to place any sticker like POLICE or identity symbols on the bikes so that the criminals can not recognize the Police.

There are more than 40 places, such as Mohan Nagar junction and Habitat Centre in Indirapuram, where the street crime rate is especially high.

Kumar told, “Police have received many complaints from people that they have been given drives and then stoled. The criminals managed to snatch phones and jewelry easily. I will personally watch the operation of the Tejas unit. We will increase its force if it leads to something positive,”
