Prakasam : Prakasam District SP has created a new proforma to receive complaint of lost phones and specially designed a procedure to identify the lost phones by envisaging some difficulties in giving complaints of lost mobile phones at the police station by poor, middle class and rich people in the past and financial disadvantages they are facing due to lost mobiles. Special measures have been taken to enable the police to immediately receive and chase down on complaints that someone has lost a mobile phone. If people lose their mobile phone they should immediately go to the police station and fill up the form and hand it over at the reception counter. In return the complainant will be given a acknowledgement receipt as if the complaint has been received.
The police will then thoroughly investigate the complaint and send the details of the complaint to the IT core team. The mobile phone can be traced from time to time using various applications with the latest technology in the IT core. The district SP said that this would help the victims to get their phones back, increase the public trust in the police department and Prakasam police would always take the lead in providing better services to the people. The district SP said people can lodge genuine complaints at the concerned police stations or lodge a complaint on the police WhatsApp number 9121102266.
