Cuttack: The Odisha Police has announced the recruitment of 244 posts of Constable (Communication) in Signals Service initially on a contractual basis.
The eligibility criteria for candidates to apply for the post of Constable (Communication) are as follows: The age of the candidate must not be less than 18 Years of age and must not be more than 23 years of age as of 1.1.2021. The upper age limit relaxation is 5 years in the case of ST, SC, STBC, Home Guards, and women candidates.
The candidates must have passed plus two examinations or equivalent examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, or by any other recognized board or council. The candidates must have passed a Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent course from a recognized institution duly affiliated by the Government.
The candidates other than from SC and ST category shall pay an examination fee of Rs.220/- by online mode as per details published in the detailed advertisement.
Candidates are required to apply by online mode only on the link to be provided in the detailed advertisement to be issued on 21.6.2021(tentative). The same shall also be available on the website www.odishapolice.gov.in
