<![CDATA[The Crime Branch has arrested a man for allegedly shooting at a biker in a road rage case that took place in Uttam Nagar earlier this month. Bindapur resident Pradeep alias Monu is accused of shooting at Pankaj Gautam. Pradeep and his gang members were on the way to his house in Bindapur from Vikaspuri via Hastal Road, Vidya Vihar, in his car on August 18. On the way, the accused got into an argument followed by a fight with Mr. Gautam, who was travelling on a bike with his friend Dinesh, and fired at the victim. The police received a tip-off on August 25 about the arrival of the accused at a park near a metro station in Dwarka’s Sector 10 in the evening. A team led by Inspector Yashpal Singh and comprising of Sub-Inspector Vimal Dutt; Assistant Sub-Inspectors Randhawa and Govind; head constable Dharmender; and constables Badri Prasad, Praveen, Kuldeep, Rahul and Ravinder nabbed the accused. A search revealed a 0.32 bore pistol loaded with one live cartridge on his person. During interrogation, Pradeep allegedly confessed to his involvement in the crime.]]>
