Security forces conducted extensive search operations in the fringes and vulnerable areas of Bishnupur, Churachandpur, Kakching, and Thoubal districts. During these operations, a significant discovery was made in Moidangpok Khunou, Imphal West, where an 84 mm Illuminating round/shell was found. This potentially hazardous item was promptly and safely disposed of by the highly trained Manipur Police Bomb Disposal Squad, ensuring the safety and security of the surrounding area.
