Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: Law Enforcement Authorities destroyed a total of 825.411 kilograms of ganja seized in narcotics-related cases registered in Dindigul and Theni districts during a destruction process carried out in accordance with government guidelines.
According to officials, 177.326 kilograms of ganja had been seized in 42 narcotics cases registered in Dindigul district, while 648.085 kilograms had been seized in 18 cases registered in Theni district.
The confiscated narcotic substances were destroyed on May 26, 2026, at the Aseptic Systems Bio Medical Wastage Management facility situated in Perumalpuram, Nanguneri Taluk of Tirunelveli district.
The destruction process was carried out in the presence of DIG Dindigul Range Sasimohan and SP Pradeep as part of ongoing measures against narcotics trafficking and abuse.
